Dimapur District Football League (DDFL) Season 2 kicked-off in Chekiye Ground on October 11 with Advisor Zhaleo Rio as the special guest. Altogether 12 teams are vying for the title. The first match was played between Chekiye United FC and Thahekhu Youth FC which ended with 3-0 in favour of Chekiye United FC with 1 goal in the first half by Rhitso and 2 goals in the second half by Rhitso and Kivi, respectively. The second match at Ikishe Ground between Thilixu FC and Unity SC was won by Thilixu 3-2. Unity SC scored the 2 goals in the first half by Kito and Salu with Thilixu FC scoring 1 goal before half time by Surusal and 2 goals in the second half by Surusal and one in the dying minutes of the game.
