Dimapur district launches online slogan competition for NMBA 5th anniversary

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the Department of Social Welfare, Dimapur, has announced a district-level online slogan writing competition under the theme “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”

The competition aims to engage youths in spreading awareness on substance abuse prevention through creative expression and promote the vision of a drug-free India under the NMBA initiative.

The contest is open to residents of Dimapur district aged 15 to 29 years. Participants can submit one original slogan in English, written on A4 size paper using colour pencils, crayons, or sketch pens, with a word limit of 10 to 20 words. Entries must be submitted in digital format (scanned or PDF) along with the participant’s name and contact details via email at dhew.dmu@gmail.com or through Instagram DM to @dhew_dimapur between October 10-17, 2025.

Results will be declared on October 18, 2025, on the official Instagram account of DHEW Dimapur. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to winners: Rs 5,000 for first prize, Rs 3,000 for second, Rs 2,000 for third, and Rs 500 each for two consolation prizes.
