Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): An unidentified non-local male was found dead at Zakiesato Colony under Khorapati area in Dimapur on January 7 at around 8.30 am, police said.
According to police, telephonic information was received from a mobile unit following which the officer concerned, along with the duty party, rushed to the spot. The deceased was found wearing a white jean pant, green T-shirt and a pink hoody. He was of dark complexion, about 5 feet 5 inches in height and aged around 40–45 years, police said.
Despite efforts, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained from the local residents. After completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
