Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): Dimapur Sporting club in collaboration with Big Hit, a leading multi-sport platform dedicated to fostering young talents, and Bundesliga International have announced that a football trial, dubbed ‘The Football League’ for Under-13 players in Nagaland which will be held at Astro Turf Football ground, Police Complex, Chümoukedima from April 5-6. This event is part of the group’s the Bundesliga Dream initiative to identify and scout six Under-13 and Under-15 football teams across India, a press release stated.
The Football League, pan-India trials and tournaments, participating footballers will surpass competition to pave their way to the National Finals after which a bench of jurors - including international coaches from Bundesliga clubs and local Indian coaches - will select squads for Bundesliga Dream India, it mentioned.
Moreover, the scouted footballers will fly to Germany for a disruptive training experience at the Bundesliga youth academies throughout FY 23-24 & 24-25. In a life-time opportunity, they will indulge in friendly matches against Bundesliga youth teams, thorough educational programmes and more.
For those interested players eager to participate in the trials, the organisers explained that each individual had to be born after April 2011. For registration, players were required to login in directly from the BigHit Sportz app available in Google playstore.
