Christian Higher Secondary School and Zakiesato Higher Secondary School teams along with DDCA officials on March 28.
DIMAPUR, MARCH 28 (MExN): Christian Higher Secondary School faced Zakiesato Higher Secondary School on the second day of the DDCA U-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament 2024 which is being held under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association at Dimapur District Sports Council stadium.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Zakiesato posted a competitive total of 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Sajid and Shivam were the top scorers contributing 38 and 27 runs respectively.
In the chase, Christian Higher Secondary School pursued the target with determination but came short of 64 runs to reach the target. Jahid was the only batter who scored a notable 33 runs.
Zakiesato Higher Secondary School won the match by 64 runs. The Man of the Match went to Drona Chetry of Zakiesato Higher Secondary school, who contributed 18 runs and 4 wickets.
