Kohima, September 12 (DIPR): The officers and staff of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations on 12th September 2011 held a condolence meeting at the Directorate in honour of late Imliyapang, Typist who passed away on the evening of 10th September 2011 at Dimapur. Director IPR, Imokokba who spoke at the condolence meeting recalled late Imliyapang as a promising individual who was always willing to learn new tasks. He said that the department has lost a valuable member who would always be remembered with fondness.
The Additional Director, Pausui Zeliang described late Imliyapang as an intelligent and talented person who was always ready to render his service when required. The Joint Director, Limawati also recalled late Imliyapang as an amenable person who never had any issues with anyone although his ill health in recent years prevented him from being very regular in office. It may be mentioned that late Imliyapang joined the department in 1992 and had served in the directorate till date. His funeral service was held at Dimapur on September 11. During the condolence meeting, a mass prayer was also held for the departed soul and the bereaved family.
