The 2nd Batch of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) from the Alpha Coy of 14th IRB completed their training today at CTI HG&CD, Toluvi, Purana Bazaar. Altogether 100 jawans received the ‘Completion Certificate’ while 4 jawans received the ‘Attendance Certificate’.
Seen in the picture is the 2nd Batch SDRF along with officials from the HG&CD, Resource Persons & Trainers and officials from the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA, Home Department). The SDRF is a specialized force trained to handle any kind of disaster whether manmade or natural. The 3rd Batch of the SDRF training will begin from February 2012. Mention may be made that the SDRF is being drawn from the Alpha Coy of five IRs namely the 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th.
