Officials and winners of District Level Inter-Collegiate Competition at Wokha on August 6.

Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The District Level Inter-Collegiate Competition in debate and youth parliament was held at Wokha on August 6 last under the egis of District Youth Resource Office, Wokha in collaboration with NSS and NYKS.
This programme was part of Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect programme 2025 under the theme “Emergency period in India.”
In debate competition, Shyerhunle Seb from Mt Tiyi College won the first position in Against side while Lansothung Jami from Bailey Baptist College Wokha bagged the first position for motion.
In Youth Parliament competition, Mhabeni Ezung from Mt. Tiyi College, Tumchobeni M Kikon, Bailey Baptist College Wokha and Nchumbemo Ezung from Mt. Tiyi College stood first, second and third position respectively.
Rhukumo Kikon, councillor & convenor Urban planning and development graced the occasion as the special invitee.
The programme was chaired by K. Libemo Jami, Assistant Director. Youth Resources & Sports while welcome address was delivered by T. Penthungo Lotha, principal, Bailey Baptist College.
C. Yanpothung Humtsoe and Ekonbeni M. Tsanglao assisted as moderator for debate and youth parliament competition respectively.
The programme also witnessed feedback from A.Loreno Tsanglao and vote of thanks by L. Achumbeni Humtsoe.
Dr. Longshibemo Yanthan, A. Loreno Tranglao and Hokanili Sumi were the panel of the judges.
