Mon, August 24 (MExN): District Health Society, Mon organised a district level training on FP-LMIS (Family Planning- Logistics Management Information System) which is to improve and streamline the logistics and supply chain of the family planning commodities. The training was held at conference hall of District Hospital, Mon on August 24. 

Greeting the mass, Dr Vezokholu Theyo, Chief Medical Officer, Mon welcomed all the participants and introducedthe resource person Mr K H Kanta, State consultant FP-LMIS byappreciating his competency towards the subject. She requested for active participation and to clear all the doubts by having an interactive session within the given hour. 

Starting up the training, Kanta presented a brief review of FPLMIS operation in the State and theDistrict. Later, he took sessions on various indicators and demonstrated on the use of the application to all the staffs.

The training was attended by Medical Officer MOs, District Programme Officer, Block Programme Managers, Community Health Officers CHO, ANMs, District Community Officer DCM, and Asha Co-ordinators of all the blocks, stated a press release issued by Leeyan Chemshy, Media Officer, NHM, Mon.
