Maligaon, April 7 (MExN): Keeping in the view of mega block for infrastructural development works at Sealdah station of Eastern Railway, few trains have been diverted or rescheduled.
Due to Non-Interlocking work at Rooma for provision of new 3rd line in between Rooma-Chandari stations over Prayagraj division of North Central Railway, train No. 15483 Alipurduar Jn.-Delhi Express will be rescheduled. On other hand, due to agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj at Kharagpur and Adra divisions of South Eastern Railway, few trains have been cancelled.
Diversion & Rescheduling
• Train No. 12377 Sealdah-New Alipurduar Padatik Express commencing journey on April 8 will be diverted to run via Kolkata Terminal instead of Sealdah station.
• Train No. 12344 Haldibari-Sealdah Darjeeling Mail commencing journey on April 8 will be rescheduled to leave Haldibari at 21:15 hours instead of 18:15 hours.
• Train No. 12378 New Alipurduar-Sealdah Padatik Express commencing journey on April 8 will be rescheduled to leave New Alipurduar at 19:40 hours instead of 17:40 hours.
• Train No. 05422 Balurghat-Malda Town Special commencing journey on April 8 will be rescheduled to leave Balurghat at 22:30 hours instead of 18:30 hours.
• For undertaking Non-Interlocking work at Rooma station of Prayagraj division, train No. 15483 Alipurduar Jn.-Delhi Express commencing journey on April 12 will be rescheduled to leave Alipurduar Jn. at 13:00 hours instead of 10:30 hours.
Cancellation: In view of agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj at Khemasuli in Kharagpur Junction-Tata section of Kharagpur division and Kustaur in Adra-Chandil Jn. section of Adra division of South Eastern Railway, train No. 15629 Tambaram-Silghat Town Nagaon Express and 15930 New Tinsukia Jn.-Tambaram Express commencing journey on April 10 will remain cancelled.
