Tuensang, September 10 (MExN): District Level Centre for Women: Mahila Shakti Kendra with District Administration, Tuensang under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao conducted awareness on women centric schemes and programme at DLCW MSK office premise, Tuensang on September 9 and 10.
The main aim and objective of the programme was to disseminate information regarding the schemes available for the empowerment of women, also to enrich skills through practical and become a successful entrepreneurship.
The event was carried out with the division of cluster, following COVID-19 protocol as decided by District Task Force. On the first day different Self Help Group (SHG) attended the programmed and on the second day women leaders from different churches attended the programme
Songmao M, Women Welfare Officer mention the different schemes and programme available at the district level and highlighted different implementing agency and funding agency and where to apply and how to apply. She also mentioned them that MSK Office will be available to guide them in every possible way.
