Dimapur, July 8 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has issued a list of names of officials, who are hereby given the assignment to conduct checking of DMC registration Certificate of Cycle Rickshaw/Hand Cart/ trolley/ bicycles & Rickshaw Driving License under the supervision of Hokuto Zhimomi, advisor-in-charge, Small Vehicles Cell, DMC w.e.f from July 10, 2011. An order issued by Chief executive Officer, DMC, Nikhashe Sema informed that the list of names are: Group A- Mohan Bahadur Chetri, tax collector, DMC, Adi Tetso, tax collector, DMC, and Hiralal, Chowkider, DMC. Group B- Ivito Sema, tax collector, DMC, Ranjit Haldar, tax collector, DMC, and Kuoutio, security guard, DMC. Group C- Shekhar Bahadur Chetri-RST Collector, DMC, Vinato K.Choppy-RST Collector, DMC, and Tongpang Meren-Chowkider-DMC.
Also, the order mentioned that during conducting of checking, the official may impose a spot fine up to Rs. 100 only on the defaulter/defaulters who have not renewed license and Rs 150 only, on those who do not possess registration certificate or driving license. The checking officials shall deposit the collected amount in the DMC Cash Branch through Small Vehicle Branch with a report to concerned Advisor-in-Charge.
