As per the academic calendar, the kindergarten children of the DMI St. Joseph Global School participated in Origami, a paper-folding craft, under the guidance and supervision of their respective class teachers on October 29.
A press note from the school informed that at the event, the teachers initially demonstrated various kinds of craft models to the students and the significance of the models.
Later, the students were given finger exercise and were guided as to how to take measurement, how to fold and how to cut and then how to make the craft, it said. The exercise ended with the students making craft models like cap, spectacles, fish, puppy and mathematical shapes, and later decorated their respective classes, it added.
