
Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): The tribunals of the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) had asked all the union’s constituent units to stop issuing statements and ‘provocations’ through the media. A note from the union’s tribunals said the units must now stop the “Press war” immediately to avert further rift.
The union’s tribunals said that the “DNSU crisis is in the hands of the tribunals” and a series of meetings have been convened. “The tribunals is disturbed by the allegations and counter allegations leveled against each other among the constituent units of DNSU. The tribunals shall leave no stone unturned to evolve solution on the present crisis in the best interest of all after the series of consultative meeting,” the note said. Tribunal general Solomon L Awomi and members Seyieu Keyho and Hachumo Kikon appended the note.
“Therefore, all the concern constituent units of DNSU are hereby informed to stop unnecessary provocations through Press media war to avoid further rift. Hence all the units are informed to restraint press war forthwith.”
