DIMAPUR, FEB 21 (MExN): A 40 minute documentary film on Nagaland Music Festival was released today here at Dimapur District Sports Council stadium jointly by the Governor of Nagaland Shyamal Datta and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio which was conducted by the Special ask Force for Music. The film was made in-cooperation by Suffering Souls, Wave, Abiogenesis, DGP band along with Linda Solo and Perong J in Delhi during the India-international Trade festival 2005 from November 14-27.
Speaking the The Morung Express, Gugs Chishi, Member of Special Task Force for Music said “The document was completed in a span of 2 weeks with the artist and includes their performance in various bubs around the city” and continued, “ur main motive was to showcase the talents of the Nagas in music to other places and as far as respond was concern it was positive”. Naga choir also joined the team to perform at the Nagaland House in Delhi, he further added.
Both, Governor of Nagaland Shyamal Datta and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio were playing a very special one day exhibition cricket match between Governor’s XI and Chief Minister’s XI which is being played every year while they were releasing the film.
