
Mokokchung, August 27 (MExN): The Department of Power, Nagaland (DoPN) has informed that the 132/33kV Zunheboto (Lizu) Substation and the 132kV Zunheboto (Lizu)-Wokha (Philimi) Transmission Line will be test charged at the rated voltage from August 29.
The line will remain idle charged thereafter.
The Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung inofmred in a press release that the transmission line passes through Lizu New Village under SDO (Civil) Sardar, Zunheboto, and through the jurisdiction of Philimi, Rotomi, Akuhaito and Litsami villages under ADC Atoizu.
Accordingly, the public residing in and around these areas have been cautioned not to touch or go near the transmission line for safety reasons.
Anybody doing so shall be doing at their own risk and the department shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident whatsoever.
