Kiphire | July 26 : The monthly meeting of the Kiphire DPDB was held at the official chamber of the deputy commissioner chamber Kiphire which was attended by Chairman DPDB and Parliamentary Secretary CAWD and Chairman and MLA Kipili and other head of department.
Addressing the meeting the chairman appealed to the tribal and Hoho leaders to come together and work for the welfare of the people. He said that officers in the district faces untold problem due to the disturbance of the local populace and therefore, requested to the leaders to take note of such issues so that officers can give their best service for the people. Taking part in the discussion on various issue the chairman also assured that he will give his best for the upliftment of the district.
Chairman NSMDC and MLA Kipili also took part in the discussion on redeployment of teachers in the district. He also gave suggestion and ideas on implementation of various works in the district. On the issue of improper drainage the Advisor KTC N. Zhetovi expressed displeasure on the technical department and said experience executive engineer should be posted to Kiphire so that developmental works are carried out properly.
Earlier DC welcomed the gathering and reviewed the meeting minute of the last meeting. The house also welcomed the SP to the house. Agendas including creation of RD Block to Longmatra, Seyochung and Khong were discussed. The house resolved to have mass social work on August 6 in the district. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from the chair.
