Dimapur, September 6 (MExN): Delhi Public School, Dimapur held a felicitation programme for toppers of the 2021 All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) at the school premises on September 4.
According to a press release from the school Principal, the programme was conducted adhering to all COVID – 19 SOPs. Stating that the school has produced outstanding results in Class XII Board Exams, the Principal informed that a record number of 58 students scored 90% and above. Naman Kumar Jain from the Commerce Stream topped the overall chart with 99.6% marks followed by Saakshi Pun and Vidilhouno Savino from Science and Arts Stream securing 98.8% and 98.4% respectively, it stated.
As per the release, all the students were presented with a plant sapling as a token of love and a letter of appreciation for their outstanding and record breaking performances. DPS Dimapur has been consistent and consecutively maintaining 100% results and 100% 1st Division for the last 9 years in a row, it added.
Chairperson of Dimapur Public School Society SI Jamir, Pro Vice-Chairperson, DPS Dimapur D Aotoshi, parents and student achievers, Principal, teachers and students of present Class XI and XII attended the programme, the release stated.
