DPS Dimapur lifts National Western Vocal Music Trophy

DPS Dimapur Choir for the 7th consecutive time has lifted the champion’s trophy of the inter Delhi Public School (DPS) Western Vocal Music Festival 2019 National Level held at DPS RK Puram, Delhi on November 30.

In the solo category, Tongtien Longchar, Class XI student of DPS Dimapur won the second position by singing one of her original compositions.

Mention maybe made about the school choir winning accolades in various state level events as well: winners of the Inter School Music Fest Nagaland Choral Competition 2019 and 1st Hollotoli Inter School Choir Competition 2019. The choir has also made it to the finals of The Stage Talent Competition Nagaland. In the ongoing Hornbill Music Festival 2019, the choir comprising of young talented singer from Class IX – XI will be performing on December 06, 2019 at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Dimapur.
