KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): Dr Roland Lotha, Chairman of the Rson Heart for Poor People Trust (RHPPT), has been invited as a guest speaker at the II BRICS Forum on “Traditional Values” to be held in Brasilia, Brazil, from September 15 to 17. The forum, being organised under Brazil’s BRICS Presidency, will focus on humanitarian cooperation and peacemaking.
Dr Lotha will participate in the round table on “Humanitarian Cooperation and Peacemaking: Success Stories and Presentation of BRICS Countries’ Needs,” where he will share insights on international volunteer projects among BRICS nations.
According to RHPPT’s media cell, the invitation recognises Dr Lotha’s contributions to serving marginalised communities through his personal initiatives and the Trust he founded in memory of his late son. The organisation said his participation would help strengthen ties and advance humanitarian cooperation through volunteerism.
The II BRICS Forum is aligned with the UN International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development 2026 and will provide a platform for dialogue on enhancing collaboration and synergies among volunteer movements across BRICS countries. For more information on the forum, visit bricsforum.com.br.
