Nagaland Football Association (NFA) officials, Referees & Referee Assessor today inspected Chümoukedima Football Stadium for the forthcoming Dr Talimeren Ao Junior Girls’ National Football Championship 2025-26 (Tier- 2).
The Championship will take place from November 22 to December 11 at Chümoukedima Football Stadium.
Nagaland’s Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio will grace the inaugural ceremony as the special guest on November 22 from 17:00 hours onwards.
Anthony Ngullie, commissioner & secretary for youth resources & sports will chair the programme while welcome address will be delivered by S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, advisor youth resources & sports, Nagaland will deliver welcome address.
Introductory note will be delivered b NFA President K Neibou Sekhose.
Host state Nagaland will face Uttarakhand in the inaugural match at 18:00 hours.
Thirteen teams competing in the Dr T Ao Junior Girls National Championship have been divided into four groups. Group A comprises Uttar Pradesh and Tripura; Group B consists of Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar, Punjab and Nagaland; Group C includes Assam, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh; while Group D features Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram and Madhya Pradesh.
