A dream of Calvary

RL Kinghen I dream I saw the savior climb up Calvary, up Calvary I sorrowed oh, I sorrowed to see the heavy cross he bore I cried O Christ and must it be. “HE SIGHED, I BEAR THIS CROSS FOR THEE” I dreamed I saw Him hanging there on Calvary, On Calvary I wept to see a crown of thorns, His brow in mockery adorn, When lo! Whisper from the tree. "THY SINS ARE SHARPER THORNS TO ME" I dream I saw the savior slain on calvary, on Calvary And when such agony He bore, My heart was pierced to But hark! again He spoke to me “I BEAR THIS GRIEF TO SET THEE FREE” I woke to find my dream was true, Calvary, Calvary The sins were mine His body bore, For me the cruel thorn He wore, Oh, wondrous love to die for me “I YIELD MY SELF, O LORD TO THEE”
