Dimapur, June 29 (MExN): The Dimapur Positive Women Association (D+WA) on Tuesday acknowledged well-wishers and donors who came forward to provide rations and other assistance to its members during the pandemic.
In a press release on June 29, the association said that Eyilo Ministry Dimapur provided rations to 34 of our D+WA members. It also said that the Users Network Dimapur is planning support for 40 D+WA members financially by depositing Rs 1,500 in their bank accounts and NGO Pro Rural extended support to 40 D+WA members with dry rations. Another group of 23 D+WA members were supported by some well wishers, it added.
According to the release, the Dimapur Positive Women Association (D+WA) was launched on March 27 by former Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur Dr Mereninla Senlem and has 170 registered members. The Association intends to continue its membership drive after the lockdown is lifted, it added.
