Kohima, March 21 (MExN): The newly constructed two-storey building of VDB hall, Dzülhami village was inaugurated by Neposo Theluo , Commissioner & Secretary, Rural Development, Nagaland on March 19 at Dzülhami village under Phek district.
Speaking on the occasion, Theluo expressed happiness over the timely completion of the building.
He called upon the people to maintain unity and integrity for all round development and shared optimism that the newly constructed hall would bring people from all corners closer and strengthen unity and integrity.
He also urged the village authorities to use their powers wisely when implementing the schemes of village development.
Others who delivered short speeches included Japra Swüro, BDO Sekrezu and Keyirangding Hegui NCS, Project Director DRDA, Phek.
A brief note on the construction of the building was delivered by Müdonyi Shijoh, VCC.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Rüyosho Ringa, VDB Secretary while invocation was pronounced by Pastor Khresasüh Keyho, CRC.
Welcome address was delivered by Müdonyi Shijoh VCC followed by folk song presentation by Village Council Dzülhami.
Bilhünyi Nyekha, former VDB Secretary & VCC proposed the vote thanks, and the thanksgiving prayer was led by Pastor Thüpurüso Phuswü-o DBC.
