E-Roll Observer meets stakeholders in Noklak

Noklak, November 24 (MExN): The Electoral Roll Observer and Commissioner & Secretary, Land Resources Department, Vikeyie Kenya conducted a meeting with political parties and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) on November 24.

According to a DIPR report, Kenya informed the meeting that he was visiting the district to know the problems and grievances of electoral process of both 56th Noklak & 57th Thonoknyu Assembly Constituencies.

Urging the gathering to do their best while performing their assigned duties as per the electoral guidelines, the Observer also requested the BLOs to have proper check on double and fictitious entries in the electoral process. 

He further advised the BLOs to work sincerely as the electoral process is time bound and expressed hope that here would not be any lapse in the district while entering the electoral roll, the report said. 

Kenya also underscored the important role of political parties in the electoral process and requested them to give full co-operation to District Administration and Election Office to have a clean, accurate and successful implementation of electoral process in the district.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Noklak,Hiazu Meru in his introductory remark said that electoral process is very important in the country and thanked the Observer for coming in aid of the process in Noklak District.

During the interactive session, BLOs and political parties shared their problems and queries with the Electoral Roll Observer.

Meanwhile, felicitation of winners of online Inter School Slogan Competition was also handed over by the Observer. 

Honglin K, Class 10 student of St Paul's School, Noklak got first position while Leing L, Class 12 student of GHSS, Noklak bagged the second position . Tsujang P, Class 10 student of Holy Angels School, Noklak got third position.
