Peren, June 30 (MExN): The East Zone Inter-Sainik School Football Championship for Junior and Sub-Junior was organised at Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland from June 28 to 30.
Sainik School Purulia, Goalpara, Punglwa, Chhingchip and Sainik School East Siang, participated in the championship.
The matches were played on the basisof round robin. Sainik School Chhingchhip emerged as the champions of the Junior Category and in the Sub Junior category, Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland dominated the league rounds and topped the list and was adjudged champions.
The closing ceremony of the championship was gracedby Group Captain RK Yadav, Principal Sainik School Punglwa, who gave away the medals and congratulated the winners.
