Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): The East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has once again directed all Telecom and Service Wire Companies operating within its jurisdiction to remove or properly manage hanging and dangling wires in the town.
In a press release issued on August 28, the EDTC reminded companies of an earlier directive dated June 27, 2025, following complaints from the public. A fresh notice has been issued granting a period of 15 days from the date of issue for compliance.
The Council cautioned that failure to adhere to the directive within the stipulated time frame would compel the EDTC to remove such wires without further notice. In such cases, the concerned companies would be held responsible for any inconvenience or loss incurred.
“All companies are requested to extend full cooperation to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper management of the town,” the EDTC stated.
