Dimapur, November 12 (MExN): All individuals, the general public, and organisations under the jurisdiction of the East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC), Mount View, Purana Bazar 'B', and Darogajan are requested to cooperate with the Brahmaputra Board in the implementation of the Sugar Mill Nalla Project.
A resolution regarding the same was made during a coordination meeting held on November 10 at the residence of the EDTC Chairperson, along with representatives from the Model Colony Council, Darogajan Council, Mount View Council, and Purana Bazar 'B' Council.
In a press release, the EDTC also directed all concerned to clear any building structures, walls, plantations, or any form of obstruction that falls within the proposed drainage alignment on or before November 30 to avoid any delay in the progress of the work.
Failure to comply within the stipulated time may result in the removal of such obstructions without further notice, it said.
Stating that the successful implementation of this important drainage development project is for the collective benefit of all, the council sought the cooperation and support of the public.
