Educated unemployed memo to CM on selection anomalies

Dimapur, May 24 (MExN): The Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN), taking serious cognizance of bogus candidates, pursing government youth-aids, has submitted a representation to the Chief Minister expressing discontent that even government servants who have already availed schemes and even against deceased persons are also pursuing PMRY and CM’s Corpus Fund by procuring forged documents.

The EUUN representation signed by K Wilson Mongzar, President, and Alyn Sanchu, Joint Secretary, appraised the Chief Minister’s office that bogus candidates which include government employees have availed schemes and even against the name of demised persons, by procuring forged documents of fresh self-employment certificates and registration cards which can be easily issued and obtained but unfair means.

The union apprised the government that the EUUN has been registering all bona fide educated unemployed youths in the state in order to identify the genuine ones and implied that the union be used as the official conduit.

In this regard the EUUN suggested to the Chief Minister the following points: recognition and placement of EUUN Registration Card in documents requisition under any kind of self-employment schemes; that applications without the Registration Card be treated as invalid; that two EUUN officials be included in the Task Force Committee for PMRY Schemes, CM’s Corpus Fund and other self-employment schemes as per the guidelines of PMRY where two reputed NGOs are also entitled to be in the Task Force Committee so as to check favoritism, nepotism and “payolism” by bureaucrats in collaboration with politicians during the selection stage; that students continuing their studies and pursuing further studies be rendered ineligible for any kind of self-employment schemes.
