The YouthNet in association with Eduwork International Services Pvt Ltd and supported by Government of India Embassy in Tokyo, Japan has launched Eduwork Japan Centre of Excellence here today.
The Centre is to allow the students and parents to get genuine unbiased information of various skill development trainings and career opportunities in Japan so that they can take up after their higher secondary or higher levels of education.
Launching the Centre here today at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Nagaland’s Governor PB Acharya lauded the initiative of the Centre to strengthen the young people with skilled education. He mentioned that despite having numerous colleges in India he felt that the knowledge acquired in our present education system is not applicable for the social or economic development.
Governor called on the youngsters to change the mindset for white-collar job but instead become an entrepreneur stating that there are enormous natural resources in the state that can boost the development of the state. He also reminded the youngsters that they have a debt towards your own people, society and the country and asked the students to come back to Nagaland after completing their courses and their vocational training.
The state should not only depend from Delhi for development but the young people who are equipped with skilled knowledge should become an entrepreneur and create jobs to the state to render service to the people, Governor said.
“Our young people should be job giver and not job seekers,” said Acharya and encouraged the young people who are equipped with their skilled knowledge to become entrepreneur and not employees. Raju Monga, Managing Director and CEO, Eduwork International Service Limited giving a brief history on the center said the centre is a platform to provide quality education in order to excel in their career. He said the Centre will provide guide mentor and give opportunity to the youngster of Nagaland. “We are here on a long term for the youths and students of Nagaland,” said Monga. He said that free training will be provided for Japanese language before the students joins the course in Japan.
Hisahiro Yoshioka, director O-Hara College of Business Japan Language institute, Tokyo Japan said the institute is committed to mould future of students through specialized education and contribute for social development. He said O-Hara operates 108 schools on a national scale across Japan. He also hoped the centre would build a better relationship between Japan and India. After the launching program, the student seminar on "Study and work in Japan" was held.
YouthNet, director, Lezo Putsure stated that this presents a unique opportunity for students to directly meet the organization offering different courses/trainings and get information about the career opportunities in the courses offered at their institutions, whether its traditional courses like engineering, hotel management, medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, management, commerce and IT or new age course like animation, design, fashion, hospital management, digital marketing and more.
