Dimapur, December 17 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) has notified all Eastern college students belonging to the six tribe namely-Konyak, Sangtam, Chang, Phom, Yimchunger and Khiamnyungian to be registered themselves under ENCSU.
ENCSU general secretary Toshikumba Chang in a press release informed that registration fee will be Rs. 100 and students who are not yet registered are informed to do so. As resolved in the executive meeting, the Union has urged the concerned institution/authority in and around Nagaland to deduct the sum of Rs. 50 as membership fee from all eastern students during admission. The Union has also notified all the colleges to assign one representative to ENCSU at the earliest.
The Union has also informed that there would be no deduction from the students of eastern Nagaland in all colleges in the name of membership of All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) as per the notification made by the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) in a press statement on September 18, 2011.
