Dimapur, November 29 (MExN): A meeting with all the executive engineers and above under various Engineering Departments in the State is convened on December 12 at 10:30 am in the Capital Convention Centre near Nagaland Secretariat. The meeting has been called by the State Quality Control Board on the matters relating to quality control in supply works being undertaken by the Engineering Departments including various Undertakings in the State and also on Implementation of the recently published Nagaland Public Works and Accounts Rules, 2012.
Notification on Implementation of the said Rules circulated to all the Heads of Engineering Departments vide Works & Housing Department No. WH/W-SLQC/2008 dt.27.11.2012 are required to be studied by all the technical Officers well ahead of attending the meeting so as to have detailed and effective deliberation on the matter, stated a press release issued by Chairman, State Quality Control Board.
The heads of all Engineering Departments should also pass the information to their subordinate Officers for reading the Nagaland Public Works and Accounts Rules,20 12 and to attend the meeting without fail.
The Officers are requested to reach the Convention Hall on December 12 at 10:00 am for necessary registration etc for which separate counters will be maintained for each Department at the meeting hall.
