DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 14 (MExN): The Eastern Naga National Workers Association (ENNWA) held its emergency meeting at Longleng District HQ on 09th February 2012. All the eight (8) Regions delegates i.e. Konyak Region, Phom Region, Chang Region, Yimchunger Region, Khiumyongan Region, Sangtam Region, Pangmai Region and Leinung Region participated in the meeting and passed three Resolutions, informed a press note issued by Issued by Chuba Phom, President, ENNWA.
The ENNWA has re-affirmed the stand that, it will function under the “ablest leadership of SS Khaplang” and that the objective of ENNWA is for complete Sovereignty. The ENNWA also resolved that it stood for the solidarity of the Nagas and it will never allow any elements to play for dividing the EAST and WEST.
“In short, ENNWA rejects the division of Naga families between India and Myanmar; it does not believe the theory of Indian Nagas or Myanmar Nagas. ENNWA calls all the Naga Revolutionary Groups to joint hands together with it for liberation of Naga people from the bondage of the colonel powers till Naga achieve complete Sovereignty”, stated the press note.
