DIMAPUR, MAY 11 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) along with six tribal bodies have appealed to Eastern Nagaland people who are stranded outside the state and planning to return back home to make a choice to stay back wherever they are if not very necessary.

Fortunately Nagaland is a COVID-19 free region, a joint statement from the organizations stated, while adding that “our plans to travel does not only put our health at risk but also risks the health of our beloved ones back home.”

The organizations meanwhile asked the State Government to financially assist those who are staying back.

The statement was appended by the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO), Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS), Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC), Konyak Union (KU), Phom Peoples’ Council (PPC), United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) and Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC).
