ENSF against release of teachers without relievers

Tuensang, August 29 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has issued a directive reiterating its stand against the issuance of release orders for teachers transferred out of Eastern Nagaland without relievers being appointed.

In a statement issued on August 29, the federation said that during its 26th Federal Assembly it had “strongly reaffirmed the earlier representation regarding non issuance of Release Orders for those teachers transferred out from Eastern Nagaland region without reliever.”

The ENSF cautioned that “any violation of this directive shall be treated with utmost seriousness.” It warned that “the officer concerned issuing such release orders against the representation of the Federation shall be held solely responsible and fully accountable for any adverse consequences that may arise.”

Further, the Federation directed that “all DEOs and SDEOs are instructed to strictly comply with this directive without exception. Non-compliance shall be regarded as willful negligence, and the officer concerned shall bear the consequences entirely at his/her own risk.”

The ENSF also called upon its federating units to “remain vigilant, take necessary action as required, and submit immediate updates to the ENSF office.”
