Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) today expressed ‘strong support’ to the decision of the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) not to extend “public co-operation” to GPRN/NSCN-Khole-Kitovi. The ENSF issued a note today standing in solidarity with the ENPO’s stance on the armed group “for violation of the historic 18t h December 2007 resolution wherein it was adopted that there should any bloodshed, threat, intimidation or any form of violence within the eastern Nagaland jurisdiction as Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire & Longleng districts.” “It is pertinent to mention that the ENPO had resolved this drastic decision of non co-operation during an emergency meeting held along with all the tribal bodies, ENSF, ENWO, tribal women organization’s and tribal students’ bodies on 29th December 2011 in the aftermath of the killing of Tsilongse Sangtam near Kuthur village,” the ENSF said. The ENSF has requested all the “factions/national workers” to uphold the resolution of the ENPO and maintain peace within the districts.
