ENSU-KCK holds 10th Fresher’s Social

The Eastern Naga Students' Union Kohima College Kohima (ENS-KCK), held its 10th Fresher's Social on August 12, at URA Academy Hall, Kohima under the theme, “Confluence through Education.”


A press release issued by the union stated that Longri Chang, President, Eastern Naga College Students' Union (ENCSU) graced the occasion as the guest speaker while Thinglise Sangtam, Vice President Sangtam Students' Union, Kohima (SSUK) was the special invitee.


Speaking on the occasion, Longri stressed on living with unity irrespective of tribes and jurisdiction and to maintain strict discipline of being a student, it said. 


Thinglise emphasized on living with trust, respect and love, it added. Highlighting on pros and cons of technology in the modern era, he also urged the students to make good use of mobile phone, which otherwise could spoil one's life. 


Lemei was the chairperson of the programme and Kimiyeli said the invocation prayer. ENSU-KCK, President Lithrongpa delivered the presidential address while Meno E, the Statistical Secretary read out the statistical report. It concluded with a vote of thanks by the union's Vice President, Yakap and the benediction prayer by its Speaker Kongpe.
