Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) Dimapur a national institute under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India is conducting a two weeks Entrepreneurship Development Programme under the PMEGP scheme from August 25 to September 7 at the conference hall, Urban haat, Dimapur. A press note issued by Pranjal Kr Das, PIO, IIE informed that the programme is being sponsored by Khadi & Village Industry Commission Dimapur (KVIC). More than 69 participants from Dimapur, Wokha, Phek, Mon, Mokokchung and Zunheboto district are attending the programme.
The inauguration programme is headed by I Athuba Lusang, Assistant, KVIC Dimapur addressing as the chief guest highlighted the importance of the programme and expectation from the participants that they can properly utilize the government fund in proper direction. He explained about the financial matter of the scheme and also requested the participants to recover the sanctioned loan amount on time which will help the scheme to run successfully.
The guest of honour, M Senthy Jamir, executive member of IIE Dimapur spoke on the viability of different projects regarding the business and capitalization of entrepreneur’s caliber through the programme. He also explained about the various government schemes and business opportunities in Nagaland.
Others who attended the programme included Marianus Lotha, Special Officer of DIC Dimapur and Gethau Panmei, general member of IIE Dimapur. Welcoming the participants, Pranjal Kr Das, PIO, IIE who also co-ordinate the programme briefed about the scheme and role and services of IIE which the participants can avail. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Sani Pongen, RA, IIE Dimapur.
