EPFO Dimapur to host outreach programme in Tuensang town

Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur, will conduct an outreach and awareness programme titled ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ at Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission, DRDA hall, Tuensang on August 27.

The programme will run in two sessions: from 10 am to 12 noon for employers and from 12 noon to 2 pm for establishments interested in provident fund-related matters. 

The initiative aims to enhance awareness of EPFO schemes, address grievances, and strengthen stakeholder engagement, informed a Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Dimapur, Samuel Das.

Das, along with , along with Enforcement Officer Kallal Bhattacharjee, will hear grievances from workers, employers, and industry representatives. 

The session will also provide handholding support to employees and establishments on provident fund matters, including filing grievances, digital services, fraud prevention, e-nomination, online claim filing, and KYC updates.

The EPFO informed that a pension help desk will also be set up to resolve grievances on the spot. Employers, employees, pensioners, and industry stakeholders have been encouraged to participate.

The EPFO noted that the Employees’ Pension Scheme (1995) and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (1976), offering coverage up to Rs 7 lakh, are available to workers in Nagaland. Stakeholders have been invited to share feedback and suggestions to improve services further.
