For the past one month or so the people of Wokha has been going through a strange experience with regard to the supply of power in parts of Wokha Town. The 'on again' 'off again' power supply phenomena that started from last month and is continuing till date. Several residents individually and in groups have lodged complaints in the Power department and surprisingly, it seems that the dept cannot find out what the problem is. Of late many residents had to bear the brunt when many electric and electronic gadgets got destroyed due to the power surges. The dept need to act and take remedial measures to avoid such occurences in future. While the constant flickering - off/on in the power supply is nerve racking. The electrical dept in Wokha should reach out to the higher authorities in Kohima and take corrective steps before something bad happens.
