The Englan Range Village Council Union under Wokha District vehemently condemned the 10th, 13th and 18th July 2012 incident where one Kyothungo Humtsoe of Aree Old Village claim himself as Lecy from NSCN Unification group a long with unidentified person illegally collected Tax from Head Master Govt. High School Englan and subsequent threaten to kidnap if their demand is not meet with immediate effect. Beside using abusive words on Head Master and Science Teacher taking advantage of non-locals which infected fear sychosis and mental trauma on innocent Teachers thereby assassinated the sentiments of the Teachers as well as the students GHS Englan, such anti-social activities should be condemned by every right thinking citizens, it is obvious that the Naga Students Federation (NSF) and Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) is on the verge of negotiation to all factions of the national workers for exemption of all forms of taxation in all Educational Institutions, the Union is hopeful that this will be implemented with immediate effect.
This person (Kyothungo) who could not identified as to which faction or group belongs to, once he use to claim Lecy from NSCN (K) sometimes he use to claim from NSCN (U) giving constant disturbance and collecting taxes from Englan Range since for some years back without obtaining proper authorization letter/command letter from concerned authority of factions or group, in this connection the Englan Range Village Council held an emergency meeting at Englan on 21st July 2012 and resolved to imposed unconditional Banned on Mr. Kyothungo Humtsoe of Aree Old Village to entering into Englan Range in future ignoring of this resolution will be his own risks, the Union is also on the watchdog that any untoward incident that will happen in future on Head Master or to any Teaching Staff GHS Englan, Mr Kyothungo Humtsoe will be solely responsible for the same, the Union is also urged the GPRN, NSCN authorities that such illegal drugs user person should not accommodate in the organization.
The Range Council is also warn that any citizen from Englan Range if found collaborating with anti-social elements and create fear sychosis/unwanted situation in the Range, the Range Council Union will not remain silent spectator but to initiate stringent action against those involved.
Further the Englan Range Village Council Union extend its fullest support to the Englan Range Students Union (ERSU) representation to the District Education Officer Wokha (DEO) for shortage of teachers in all Govt. Primary Schools under Englan Range including GHS Englan, in this regard the Range Council is requested the DEO Wokha to deployed additional teaching staffs and provide infrastructure needs to the Schools for smooth functioning of the School in Englan Range.
