Kohima, October 4 (MExN): Evangelist Vechiyi Nienu, senior pastor of Christian Revival Church (CRC) Jalukie Zangdi on Sunday attained 55 years of service in God's ministry. The occasion was celebrated with the release of a biography by Rev Zhowhuyi Nyekha, Senior Pastor of CRC Upper PWD, Kohima.
Nagaland Christian Revival Churches (NCRC) vice-president Rev Dr Vevovo Khamo spoke during the occasion. He commended Vechiyi Nienu as a dedicated man of God who had pioneered churches and prayer centres while also being a source of blessing in the ministry of healing and soul winning as a ‘prophet, guide and spiritual father.’
Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC), executive secretary, Rev Z David Koza chaired the programme. CCCRC, chairperson Vesatso Tetse-o and Jalukie Zangdi Village Council chairperson Bedusayi Theluo shared greetings. Speech on behalf of family was delivered by Avizo Nienu.
