I kept not the vows I made to God
But the God who made me still prayed for me
Believing in the lie of the devil I was deceived
The voices of deception and rejection ensnared me
Lost in a world of frustration and depression
The devil delighted in my signs of weaknesses
Darts of temptations pointed at me
The devil wanted to make me his
To see me buried in sin
The devil desired to see me burn in hell
I call not temptation a gift but a form of all evil
Which causes people to sin
Had there been no temptation
There would have been no sin
This evil should be destroyed through faith
The power to resist and destroy temptation
Is given unto us
Destroy the evil lest it destroys you
Crush the worms of temptation under your feet
And throw them into the fire
This is our war.
