Dimapur, December 17 (MExN): The inauguration programme of Education for Basic Vocation and Soft Skills on "Paper Bags Making" was organized by Ebenezer Welfare Society (EWS) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dimapur (NYKS) at EWS, Indisen Village Dimapur.
Imli Amri (Chairman EWS) gave the introductory note about EWS and its functions and explained about the importance of paper bags usage in contributing to the environment.
District youth Coordinator, NYKS Phyobemo Lotha, in his speech explained about NYKS and the aims and objectives of the programme. He mentioned about enhancing skills and to be well trained for there are wide scopes in the future.
The Chief guest Col Keisham Debendra (Commandant 5th BN Assam Rifles) while appreciating the initiatives of EWS and NYKS, stressed on entrepreneurial attitude and behavior for attaining success in life.
He donated cash and food stuffs towards the welfare of EWS.
The programme was chaired by Chubarenla, invocation by Teplok (Advisor, EWS). Special song was presented by children of Ebenezer Orphanage Home, and concluded with a mass prayer.
