New Office Bearers of Ex-Servicemen League Nagaland.
Dimapur, August 18 (MExN): Ex-Servicemen League, Nagaland, elected its new office bearers during a general meeting held on August 5 at its Dimapur headquarters.
Short speeches were delivered by Col Satraj Singh, Adm Comdt, 3 Corps, Dr Yan Murry, CEO Pinnacle Skills, Nagaland and Maj Merenwati (Retd) OIC Polyclinic Dimapur.
The election, conducted unanimously, saw Major Vikuto Assumi (Retd) take over as President.
The newly elected team includes Hony Sub Maj Moatemsu (Retd) as Vice President, Sgt Ngukavi Kinimi (Retd) as General Secretary, Nk YN Lotha (Retd) - Joint Secretary; Nk Daniel Longchar (Retd) - Information & Publicity Secretary; Nk Keneiwelie (Retd) - Finance Secretary; and Nk Vinyi Domeh (Retd) – Treasurer.
The formal handover ceremony took place on August 16 in Kohima.
In its first meeting, the new leadership discussed various matters including setting the groundwork for future activities and initiatives aimed at furthering the welfare and interests of the Ex-Servicemen community across Nagaland.
The Ex-Servicemen League, Nagaland also reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the values of unity, service, and welfare for all Veterans of the state.
