DIMAPUR, MAY 17 (MExN): Based on intelligence input, Excise Mobile Squad under Inspector S. Kakiho Yeptho along with Constables Ihoto, Manshen and Aienla, conducted search at a residence in Dimapur Railway Colony on May 16 and seized 13 blocks of ganja weighing a total of 50 kgs. “Two occupants of the house Shoaib Akhmed and Milon Syed were arrested and booked under NDPS Act and were forwarded to judicial custody,” Ghokiho Yeptho, SP of Excise Mobile Squad, informed.
Excise Mobile Squad conducted raids at Purana Bazaar, Burma Camp, Dhobinala and Midland area and seized 896 bottles of assorted liquor. In addition, four offences were also detected by the duty party at New Field Excise Check gate.
