Sir-I read with sadness the Tangkhul Naga Long's (TNL) excommunication of Dr. Tuishem Shishak. If the TNL thought Dr. Tuisem's confession put them in a poor light, their decision to excommunicate him has only proved Dr. Tuisem right.
The Tangkhul Naga Long's decision proves the following:
1. That the Tangkhul Long does not tolerate dissensions.
2. That the Tangkhul Long is not open to constructive criticism even from within its own community.
3. Shows poor judgment and bad leadership.
Hopefully it does not reflect the thinking of all the Tangkhuls.
