Traditional Attire Presentation by Students.
Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung observed its cultural day on September 21 by organizing a programme with Chubawati Longchar, President, Ao Senden (Hoho) as the Special Guest.
An alumnus of the College himself, he exhorted the students to uphold their culture and understand the meaning and significance of the various cultural items and symbols they were wearing. A traditional folk song was presented by the Chuchuyimpang Village Council while young boys and girls of Mokokchung Village performed a traditional folk dance.
Fazl Ali College students too presented a traditional tune while a show of ethnic, traditional dresses was presented by students representing the various tribes and communities studying in the College. Teachers as well as staff of the College presented traditional tunes during the program.
