MOKOKCHUNG, JULY 20 (MExN): Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung conducted an orientation programme for students of 1st Semester BA/BSc 2023. The programme was chaired by Dr Temjennaro, Asst. Professor, and Department of Education.

Speaking on the occasion, the principal Dr I Wati Imchen welcomed all the freshers and congratulated on entering into a lively diverse community of the college. He encouraged the students to try new things and choose provocative thinking. He also encouraged the students to actively involve in all co-curricular & extracurricular activities. The primary objective of this college is to provide the best quality education and continue to have this institution grow, he said. 

Dr Imcharenla, Associate Professor, Convenor of Disciplinary Committee reminded the students about the importance of discipline and to maintain decency and decorum. She also highlighted on the rules and regulations pertaining to the college and how all the students should abide by it.

I Narola Imchen, Assistant Professor & Convenor, Anti Ragging Cell reiterated on the college commitment towards ragging and related offence. She explained how such incidents can be identified and reported to higher authorities. 

Academic orientation on FYUGP NEP 2020 was presented by Dr Lanurenla, Associate Professor & HOD, Dept of English. 

Orientation on aspects of library was highlighted by Dr Lendina, Librarian, Fazl Ali College, and informed the students about NDLI and N-LIST. NDLI (National Digital Library of India) is an all-digital library which stores information about different types of digital contents including books, articles, videos, thesis and any other relevant educational materials. It is a platform designed to make digital educational resources accessible to all and to empower, inspire and encourage learning.
