FAC’s organises 3rd edition of ‘September Melange’ 

Mokokchung, October 6 (MExN): The Creative Arts Committee, Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung organised the third edition of the “September Melange” online from September 20-30.

The annual event is aimed at promoting the role of Arts in fostering creative thinking among the students and providing a venue for expressing their diverse creative mind, informed a press release from FAC. 

Building a bridge between diverse cultures and experiences, through their definition of Art using multiple mediums, more than 90 participating students expressed their thoughts, feelings, challenges and visions through the Art of Photography, Solo singing, Painting, Musical piece, COVID-19 tales, performance poetry, creative video, solo dance, innovative videos, cosplay and digital poster, it said. 

 All categories were judged and awarded certificates with cash incentives while Instagram ‘Highest liked photo’ and YouTube’s ‘Highest viewed video’ were also declared. 

All 10 days events were live streamed on the FACSU YouTube and Instagram account.

As media collaborators, on different social media platform the event was promoted and supported by Akumla Imsong, reigning Miss Mokokchung, managed by L M Double S Entertainment Mokokchung and powered by YouTuber Lambu (Akum), the FAC’s release informed. 

The special guest judges for the event were: Nungsang, a teacher and a musician by profession (Chief Judge of Musical Piece Competition); Arong Mongro, Research Associate, International Centre for Environment and Sustainable Research Development (Guest Judge for Solo Dance Competition); Teka Imchen, Paramedic, CMO Tuensang, H&FW, Nagaland (Guest Judge for Solo Dance Competition); Imtisanen Longkumer, Visual and Graphic Designer &Entrepreneur (Guest Judge for Digital Poster Competition).

‘Purity,’ a Nagaland-based streetwear sponsored the ‘Giveaway’ and its proprietor, Imkongtsukdak graced the result declaration occasion held on October 2 at the FAC campus of Fazl Ali College.
